Father’s Day
By
Father’s Day is almost here!
How does one celebrate when daddy is so far away? When you can’t see him open any gifts, when you can’t take him out to dinner and you can’t give him hugs and kisses?
Father’s Day can be a hard holiday for military families. When the rest of the United States is celebrating with daddy, it might just be another day for us.
One fun thing to do is create a fun package of Father’s Day treats. You can have the kids wrap up a bunch of different fun things for daddy to open on his special day. You can have your kids make a fun video telling daddy how much you love him.
Although it isn’t quite the same as when he is home, you can make the day very special for him. And just remember, next year he could he might be home and then you can really celebrate his special day
Fathers are so Important to the kids
To the fathers who are in a war zone on Father’s day, remember that those kids of yours are strong and they love you very much. They may not know yet what they are giving up but they are special kids and they can’t wait to run and give you lots of hugs and kisses when they see you again.
Happy Father’s Day to everyone. No matter where daddy may be
