Founder/CEO

Roxanne Reed is a proud military brat, military spouse and mother of two. She is the CEO and founder of Jane Wayne LLC and her brands are known around the world as Jane Wayne Gear and the All Fired Up Candle Company to name a few. She pioneered the trend of “designed by military wives" which shows in every brand she and her teams develop.

Although her passion is in design, she loves to share her experiences with other spouses and founded a mentoring program called - Building a Business Military Spouse Style©. Her program and business consulting has helped a number of military spouse start ups around the country over the past eight years. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Old Dominion University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Roxanne loves her babies, spending time with her husband, playing at the beach and reading as many business books as she can handle.

I am proud to say that I am still learning something new almost every day.  Even with 30 years of executive and management expertise in corporate business.  I am a proud Co-Owner and I serve as the Chief Operating Officer. 
 
My career began with AT&T Communications where I laid the groundwork, for a future as an entrepreneur.  I held several management positions in marketing, sales, training and personnel services.  After 14 years it was time for an early retirement.  I was ready to apply my education, experience and management acumen to developing new business opportunities.

I co-founded two telecommunication companies, serving for 8 and 10 years respectively, as Chief Operating Officer of Education Communication Systems, Inc. and Escrow Management Services, LLC, (EMS). Firms providing communication systems and services, project management and escrow protection for Network Carriers in the telecommunications industry.

To continue with my love for training and people development, I founded Quest Management &Training Institute.  I find it extremely rewarding to be involved in part, with the successes of individual or team development. Some people read developmental books; I like to bring the books to life in a classroom or office. Training is my “geeky” me.

I was introduced to the military community as a young Marine Corps Wife, where I experienced the “grit” and “commitment” that comes with military service.  I am proud to be part of this fantastic company and honored to share in its growth.  When I’m not behind the computer in the office, you may find me enjoying a walk around the neighborhood or preferably on a beach.  Some of my passions: to travel the globe, play golf with dear friends, visit with family, laugh everyday, and share all my experiences with my children and grand children.

KRISTEN DOWNING

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia and spent my younger years growing up in Reston, Virginia.  After college, I moved to Shaker Heights, Ohio, where I currently reside with my husband and two daughters.  I have had my hands in candle wax since 2000, as a result of my sister selling me on the idea that we could be successful business owners just by making candles!  Partnering with my sister to share in her vision of this company has been such a wonderful experience!
